Dr. Wheeler has a special interest in general pediatrics, mental health, medical weight loss, and health care reform. Dr. Wheeler is a gifted speaker and teacher. In 2021 he won Columbia, Missouri’s Entrepreneur of the Year and in 2019 he won the University of Missouri Best Young Physician award. In his spare time, he likes driving or fly fishing. His hometown is Bolivar, Missouri. If he wasn’t in the medical field, he would have a job in finance or economics.
